Membership terms for Mighty Fines, including waiting periods, fair use, exclusions, reimbursement rules, and minimum term commitments.

Membership structure

Mighty Fines offers subscription memberships for Australian drivers. Each membership is billed monthly and has a 12-month minimum term.

Membership is designed to provide access to discretionary reimbursement consideration for certain eligible fines and notices. It is not insurance.

Eligibility and general conditions

Members may be considered for reimbursement where the fine or notice was legally issued by a recognised authority in Australia, paid in full by the member, and submitted with the required supporting documents within the required timeframe.

Claims must fall within the eligible categories of the member's active tier and remain within any applicable annual reimbursement cap, claim frequency limit, waiting period, fair use setting, and other terms of membership.

Membership limits and restrictions

Reimbursements remain subject to membership tier inclusions and exclusions, annual reimbursement caps, claim frequency limits, waiting periods, fair use policy, and ongoing compliance with these terms.

Mighty Fines reserves the right to apply reasonable limits to prevent excessive, abnormal, or unintended use of the service.

Fair use, exclusions, and conduct

This service is intended for occasional and unforeseen infringements only. Claims may be reduced, declined, or restricted where usage is excessive, abnormal, deliberate, or inconsistent with typical consumer behaviour.

Reimbursements will not be provided for fraudulent, misleading, or dishonest claims, dangerous or reckless driving, drug or alcohol impairment, criminal matters, court-imposed penalties, non-Australian notices unless otherwise stated, or any fine category not explicitly included in the member's tier.

Member responsibility and safety

Members remain fully responsible for all fines, penalties, legal obligations, payment deadlines, and dealings with authorities. Mighty Fines does not pay fines on behalf of members and does not interact with issuing authorities.

Members must provide accurate information, cooperate with reasonable verification requests, and avoid behaviour that creates legal, financial, or reputational risk for the business.

Waiting period, cancellation, and consumer law

A 30-day waiting period applies from the commencement of membership. Fines incurred before or during the waiting period are not eligible for reimbursement review.

Memberships are offered on a 12-month minimum term. Early cancellation may incur applicable fees and will result in loss of reimbursement eligibility. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

Car Care Benefit – Eligibility & Conditions

1. Eligibility: Available only to members on designated eligible tiers. Member must maintain an active and continuous paid membership for a minimum of 3 months before accessing this benefit. Membership must be current, valid, and in good standing at the time of claim submission and assessment.

2. Benefit Limit: Reimbursement is capped at up to $150 per use during the membership year. Limited to approved claims per membership year depending on tier. Any unused portion does not roll over into future periods.

3. Eligible Services: This benefit applies only to standard professional car detailing services, including Exterior and Interior cleaning and detailing, and Full detailing packages. All services must be performed by a legitimate, verifiable commercial provider operating within Australia.

4. Exclusions: DIY cleaning products, cash-only/unverifiable providers, mechanical repairs, premium specialized treatments (e.g., ceramic coating), and non-standard vehicle detailing are not eligible for reimbursement.

5. Claim Requirements: Members must provide a valid tax invoice/receipt, proof of completed payment, and sufficient business details to verify the provider. Claims should be submitted within a reasonable timeframe (e.g. 30 days recommended).

6. Assessment & Approval: Subject to review and approval based on internal criteria. Requests may be declined if eligibility cannot be verified.

7. General Conditions: This is a membership feature, not insurance or a financial product. Reimbursements are discretionary. The benefit is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
